PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to process your trip booking, travel arrangements and any other orders placed through the Site. Additionally, we use this Order Information to:
Communicate with you; Much of the time, our use of your data will be because of the contract between us – that is, in relation to your travel booking. We will usually retain relevant data for up to seven years from the date the contract completes – e.g. the last day of your trip.
For Legal obligations; we are under certain binding legal obligations, such as accounting to the government for tax and making financial records available for audit. In such cases, we are typically obliged to retain data for up to ten years from the date of transaction.
When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.
We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. Some of the Personal Information we collect is shared with our tour guides who are directly involved in fulfilling the purchases you have made from us. We only provide our tour guides with your name and your local contact details if you provide them (e.g., your hotel name for pick-ups and drop-offs, your local phone number, your mobile phone number, etc.) We do not provide our tour guides with your email address or any other Personal Information.
We may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights. Your personal data may be stored, used and otherwise processed within Lithuania and/or any other country/ where you were asking for services. Data protection laws may not be as strong outside the European Union as they are in the EU. Personal data is transferred to a company which is required by our contract with them only to deal with the data in accordance with our instructions and to maintain appropriate security to protect the personal data which we are satisfied they have. We will not, however, pass any information on to any person who is not responsible for part of your travel arrangements unless we are legally obliged to do.
We will take appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized or unlawful processing of personal data and accidental loss or destruction of, or damage to, personal data. UAB Klaipedos Meja will not share your information for marketing purposes. In processing your booking, we may be required to provide your details to security or credit checking companies, financial institutions, public authorities as required by law.
