Take a picturesque drive across Lithuanian countryside. In a small village, around 45 minutes away from Klaipeda you will visit a beekeeper family. It all started after grandpa returned from exile and purchased one small family of bees to start a beehive. Now small beehive has turned into an apiary of more than 260 bee families. Meet 3 granddaughters, who now take care of family business with their own families.
Before heading back to Klaipeda, you will be offered mouthwatering selection of snacks: natural freshly made honey, honey with different herbs, dark homemade bread, and locally made mead drink.
Wander freely around the Klaipeda Old Town district, where you can shop for authentic souvenirs and marvel historic monuments.
