Klaipeda - port city

Klaipeda is the oldest town in Lithuania beginning in 13th century. It has a colourful history as the town was once part of Prussia, Germany, France, Sweden and Soviets. Klaipeda of today is a vibrant, bohemian city with a marine spirit.

Kretinga - spiritual town

Kretinga, a little town just 30 minutes drive from Klaipeda, has a special charm. It is known for its Count’s Mansion, the winter gardens, Franciscan monastery, and the 17th century church.

The small town of Nida sits at the southern Lithuanian end of a remarkable geological formation known as the Curonian Spit. The Curonian Spit has been named as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Palanga - seaside resort

Palanga is known as a popular seaside resort due to its mild climate, golden sandy beaches and wooden summer houses. Palanga is home to the biggest Amber museum in the Baltics and beautiful Botanical Park.

Vente - the bird paradise

The Nemunas delta regional park lies at the heart of one of Europe’s busiest bird migration routes. During the migration season millions of birds fly over the delta and it is home to many in the summer.

Plateliai - the Nuclear Weapon Site

The Zemaitija National Park is famous for its hills, swampy hollows and crystal-clear lakes. The Plateliai lake is surrounded by dense forest, which were used by Soviets during the Cold War to hide the 1st Nuclear Missile base of the Soviet Union.
